Ralph Paglia



Paglia currently serves as Vice President of Digital at Tier10 Marketing, which has offices in Washington, DC and Miami, FL. Since January 2011 Ralph has focused on building out Tier10’s digital marketing, advertising, social media and related capabilities.  He has designed and blueprinted Tier10’s processes which deliver digital marketing and advertising services to car dealers and dealer groups which are Tier10 Marketing clients, as well as similar services offered by Automotive Resource Partners affiliates.  Team building has been an important part of Tier10’s digital capabilities build-out, and Ralph has been the key driver for hiring, training and empowering the Tier10 digital teams.

From March 2007 until December 2010, Ralph Paglia served as Director of Digital Marketing Solutions at ADP Dealer Services of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, which is one the largest dealer solution providers in the world. Paglia’s responsibilities included leadership of ADP’s Digital Marketing Business and Solutions development.  He led development of ADP’s Digital Advertising, Social Marketing and Reputation Management solutions for dealers.  Ralph spearheaded ADP’s development of managed solutions, including the implementation of multichannel integrated marketing strategies using a blend of digital advertising and targeting technologies, social media and reputation management for car dealers.  In early 2008 Paglia introduced the social media managed solution concept and developed the tactic of using dealer owned online communities as content origination “Hubs”, targeted to attract engagement with dealership employees, consumers and suppliers. Paglia’s “Hub and Spoke” social media marketing strategy has become widely recognized as one of the most ROI validated approaches to automotive social media marketing.

Prior to ADP Paglia worked for Courtesy Chevrolet of Phoenix, Arizona. While leading the eBusiness Sales and BDC/CRM teams at Courtesy Chevrolet, the dealership became the top sales volume GM dealership in the world, retailing over 11,000 new and used vehicles in 2006. Before joining Courtesy Chevrolet, Ralph was with The Reynolds and Reynolds Company in various positions, including OEM solutions development leader and OEM partnership executive. He was a Cyber Car eBusiness consultant at HAC Group before it was acquired by The Reynolds and Reynolds Company.  Paglia began his career in the auto industry at De La Fuente Automotive Group in San Diego, where he served in such roles as sales representative, sales manager and general manager.

Mr. Paglia has become well-known throughout his career as a passionate and insightful leader in the development and implementation of highly effective customer management and interactive marketing strategies and practices. He has led the development and design of nationally implemented CRM and digital marketing programs for several car companies, including Ford Motor Company; American Honda Motor Co., Inc.; Mercedes-Benz USA; and Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.

His accomplishments include facilitating the partnership between Ford Motor Company and ADP Dealer Services, whereby ADP supplies Ford with a team of dedicated digital marketing consultants assigned to each Ford marketing region in the United States. Mr. Paglia led the design and development of the Ford Lincoln Mercury Digital Advertising Program for Dealers and trained the team of analysts and account managers that provides dealers with ADP’s Digital Advertising Solutions.

He led the team that installed the Mercedes-Benz StarLeads system and Mercedes-Benz BDC dealership implementation programs for Mercedes-Benz USA.  He has worked on numerous eBusiness development projects for American Honda and has facilitated seminars for Honda and Acura dealerships throughout America.  Mr. Paglia designed dealer implementations for Toyota’s eCertified Dealer Program, and facilitated Toyota’s eCertified dealer seminars and consulting assignments.

Since 2008, Ralph Paglia has become widely known in automotive industry circles as the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Automotive Digital Marketing Professional Community, which is available online at www.AutomotiveDigitalMarketing.com. The current version of ADM was launched January 3, 2008 and was based on Ralph’s Internet Sales Manager resource site built on the Yahoo’s Geocities platform in 1999. The ADM Community has since become North America’s most visited online resource for auto industry professionals working in sales and marketing.

After graduating from High School in the Buffalo, NY area, Paglia went on to earn his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Valparaiso University in Indiana, and then went on to the State University of New York at Buffalo for his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Marketing.
